Senior Structural Engineer – Project Manager

A Strong Professional Environment in Høje Taastrup
You will become part of our Construction, Renovation and Fire Engineering department in Høje Taastrup, consisting of approximately 40 dedicated colleagues, including 25 specialists within structural engineering.
Our team provides technical consultancy and structural design across renovation, transformation and new-build projects, covering a broad range of building types including cultural buildings, commercial developments and residential projects.
We are known for our strong team spirit, collaborative culture and knowledge sharing, where colleagues support each other and work closely across disciplines.

Technical Project Manager within Structural Engineering
You will join our construction department as a Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager, where technical excellence and interdisciplinary collaboration are central to how we work.
You will take responsibility for the delivery of structural engineering projects, acting as a key technical advisor while ensuring projects are executed efficiently and to the highest professional standards.
Working alongside experienced Danish colleagues and experts from WSP’s global network, you will contribute to both project delivery and the continued development of our structural engineering expertise. You will also play an important role in mentoring younger engineers and strengthening our professional environment.
Your Responsibilities
At WSP, collaboration is key. You will work closely with colleagues across teams and disciplines, and your main responsibilities will include:
Design and planning of load-bearing structures
Acting as technical project manager on multidisciplinary construction projects
Providing technical advisory and client dialogue
Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
Contributing to technical development and innovation
Collaborating across disciplines and with international colleagues and experts
Your Profile
We are looking for a structural engineer with strong technical expertise and the ability to take responsibility for both projects and professional development.
You bring:
MSc or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum 8 years of experience in structural design within a consulting environment
Solid knowledge of Danish building regulations including BR18, SBi271 and Eurocodes
Experience with structural design software such as FEM Design, Robot or Revit
Certification as a Certified Structural Engineer or ambitions to obtain this certification
Proficiency in Danish at a professional working level is required for this position. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered
